Depositing a Check

 

  1. Log into the Northwest Mobile App.
  2. Access the Deposit Feature
  • In the bottom right corner, tap the Deposit icon (camera icon).
  1. Review Important Deposit Instructions
  • Availability:
    • Deposits submitted and approved before 9 PM EST (Monday–Friday) are available the next business day.
    • Deposits made after 9 PM EST (Monday–Friday), on weekends, or on bank holidays will be available in two business days after the deposit date.
  • Endorsement:
    • Beneath your signature, write “For Northwest mobile deposit only.
  • Limits:
    • Daily Limit: $5,000.
    • 20-Day Limit: $20,000.
  1. Accept Deposit Instructions
  • Read and review the instructions, then click Accept.
  1. Select an Account
  • Under Deposit To, choose the account where you want the funds to go.
  1. Enter the Check Amount
  2. Capture Images of the Check
  • Front of Check: Tap the Front of Check image icon.
    • Place the check on a dark surface and align it within the frame for a clear capture.
  • Back of Check: Tap the Back of Check image icon.
    • Again, place the check on a dark surface and align it within the frame.
  1. Complete the Deposit
  • Once both images are captured, click the Deposit button (green button).
  • You’ll receive a confirmation if your check has been deposited successfully.
