How to Enroll Your Device for Biometric Authentication

Using biometric authentication in the Northwest Mobile Banking app lets you quickly and securely log in with fingerprint or facial recognition. Enrolling Your Device for Biometric Authentication

  1. Open the Mobile App
  • Select the Face ID icon in the bottom navigation.
  • Input login credentials 
  1. Access Settings
  • Scroll to the bottom of the menu and select Settings.
  1. Authorize Device Enrollment
  • Under Settings, tap Authorize Device Enrollment.
  1. Set Up Biometric Authentication
  • Biometric authentication enables you to log into the mobile app using your device’s biometric sensors (like fingerprint or facial recognition).
  • Fill in the following fields:
    • Device Name
    • User ID
    • Password
  • Then, select Enroll.
