Northwest Bank Welcomes Michael Perry and Ebony Johnson
Northwest Bank, a full-service financial institution offering a complete line of business and personal banking solutions, has enhanced its Accounting and Finance team with the addition of two experienced leaders — Michael Perry, Head of Corporate Development and Strategy, and Ebony Johnson, Head of Financial Planning and Analysis.
As Head of Corporate Development and Strategy, Mr. Perry will be a key member of Northwest’s senior leadership team, overseeing and managing all aspects of corporate development and strategy, including the company’s acquisition strategy and strategic planning process. Additionally, he will lead the company’s Investor Relations function, providing leadership in managing communications with Northwest’s investors and the investment community.
Mr. Perry brings extensive banking, financial services and M&A experience to Northwest, having served as an investment banker advising depository institutions on a range of transactions including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings and capital markets transactions. He has advised on over 50 M&A transactions with an aggregate deal value of over $80 billion and has worked on capital markets offerings raising over $23 billion in the aggregate.
In her role as Head of Financial Planning and Analysis, Ms. Johnson will lead a team in the development and implementation of new processes and standards for budgeting, forecasting and quarterly business reviews.
Working alongside executive leadership, her efforts will provide critical insights to help drive companywide business decisions and uncover opportunities to enhance performance.
Prior to joining Northwest, Ms. Johnson served as Executive Director, Data Analytics CFO/Head of FP&A, for JP Morgan Chase. There, she oversaw all financial matters related to the company’s Data Analytics Department, which has an annual revenue of $1 billion. In this role, she provided insights that helped in the assessment of new products and identified initiatives that created strategic value and increased earnings.
